Highcross agrees deal with EBP at 1000 Lakeside
The Portsmouth & South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership (EBP) is on the move to 1000 Lakeside, taking 3,000 sq ft at Highcross’ landmark Portsmouth office scheme.
The organisation, which brings business and education together to prepare young people for work, has agreed a ten-year lease with Highcross and will occupy offices on the building’s second floor.
EBP is relocating to 1000 Lakeside from premises in central Portsmouth. Chief executive, Cath Longhurst said the move coincides with a new marketing and re-branding campaign:
“The move to 1000 Lakeside gives us much better access to our region, great facilities for our staff, partners and visitors and provides a platform for us to raise awareness of our work with schools and employers across south east Hampshire.”
The organisation works closely with businesses across the region and is a not-for-profit social enterprise. It recently launched a new campaign to raise awareness and take-up of work experience placements at local companies.
Highcross director, Nick Turner comments: “We are delighted that the Education Business Partnership has chosen to base its operations at 1000 Lakeside. Over recent months, we have been involved in a range of initiatives with local schools and colleges and we look forward to building on these links, now that the EBP is located here.”
1000 Lakeside North Harbour offers office space from 2,000 sq ft to 250,000 sq ft, plus a Regus business centre for companies looking for smaller premises. The landmark building with its stunning atrium is set in landscaped grounds adjacent to Junction 12 of the M27.
