Astute growth brings move to 1000 Lakeside
Highcross has let 2,978 sq ft office space at its 1000 Lakeside North Harbour development in Portsmouth to ASTUTE Technical Recruitment.
The technical recruitment consultancy, which specialises in supplying candidates for power and renewable engineering jobs in the UK and Europe, has enjoyed significant expansion since it was founded two years ago by Managing Director, Terry Buckel.
Operations Director, Darren Simmons comments: “The business has grown rapidly in the last 12 months, and we now employ 19 staff. The move to 1000 Lakeside will place our business in a prestigious building, which will allow our rapid, but sustainable, growth to continue. Importantly for us, we have a blank canvas to work with, and fully intend to build a dynamic and modern office space which will excite our existing team, and enthuse more people to join us.”
ASTUTE has taken the office space on a ten-year lease. The company is currently working with Guildford-based TDA Interiors on the design and build of the office space, and expects to move in to the building in January.

Located adjacent to Junction 12 of the M27 at the gateway to Portsmouth, the air-conditioned, four-floor 1000 Lakeside office building is set in extensively landscaped grounds and has almost 1,000 car parking spaces. Office space is available from 2,000 sq ft to 250,000 sq ft, with a Regus business centre also located on site for companies requiring smaller accommodation.
