Big Green Commute Week is back! #bgcw2018

Jun 11, 2018

For one week a year, we actively encourage all our occupiers and visitors to ditch their car and commute to the campus in a more sustainable way.

Big Green Commute Week back by popular demand, week commencing 11 June.

If just one person were to swap their car journey for walking, cycling, public transport or car sharing with a work colleague for one week, it could help reduce congestion and CO2 emissions massively.

If everyone chose to leave their car at home for just one day, it would result in a whopping 20% reduction in emissions and result in less congestion on the roads.

It would also make Portsmouth a nicer place to live and work!

With daily food rewards from our Atrium Cafe and a range of sustainable travel suppliers on hand to give advice there’s no excuse not to give it a go!

And as an extra reward for those that take part, the following amazing prizes are up for grabs!

Occupiers that achieve the greatest number of sustainable commuter miles, could win one of the following prizes:

BMW i3 for the weekend – courtesy of Snows Motor Group

Atrium Café lunch

Eco-Drift waterless car wash

VIP parking pass for a week

To register and take part email and include your name, company and postcode with details of how you would normally travel to and from work…..and how you plan on travelling to and from work for #bgcw2018
