To better understand its occupier’s attitudes Lakeside recently commissioned a survey which invited feedback from all occupiers about their use of the Campus and plans for the future. The survey identified that 95% of occupiers are very satisfied with the facilities management delivered on Campus, with 87% very satisfied with communications from the Lakeside team. The Net Promoter Score (NPS) resulting from the survey was 71, which puts Lakeside into the highest banding of NPS scores globally.
First opened in 2005, Lakeside North Harbour provides half a million square feet of office space over 5 buildings. The Campus is recognised for its exceptional work/life balance with on-site shops, restaurants, cafes and a hotel with gym facilities as well as a full and diverse events programme. Lakeside’s location, with over 100 acres of open space, a feature lake, dedicated walks, a Fitness trail and easy access to the A27, is also a key draw for companies looking for premium space on the South Coast.
Sue Ball of Verisona Law, comments: “We bought a vision of what Lakeside could be. Back in 2008 none of the facilities like shops and cafés existed, they were merely a promise of brighter things to come. We had our merger/office launch party in the Atrium and invited 400 guests because we could – there were genuinely very few other occupiers to disturb! The people at the party were looking at us wondering if we knew something they didn’t, because there we were investing in this massive space within a largely empty building whilst all around us was the doom and gloom of global recession. Ten years on, I am personally very proud to work here and feel we have the space, opportunity and support to continue to grow.”
Karen Tyrrell, Client & Communications Manager at Lakeside North Harbour, comments: “It is testament to Lakeside that some of our earliest occupiers are still on Campus now, ten years later. In order to keep providing the very best on the South Coast it is vital for us to understand how our occupiers feel we are managing the Campus. We invite an open and honest dialogue, and all feedback is used to drive improved facilities and service levels. These survey results are truly impressive, and show that an overwhelming majority of our occupiers are happy with what Lakeside is offering, and intend to stay over the years.”
Each completed survey generated a £10 donation to Lakeside North Harbour’s nominated charity of the year The LifeHouse, who help support Portsmouth City’s homeless.
