As the seasons change, so does the wildlife, flora and fauna here all of which are brought to life by an expert from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.
Our insect wildlife conservation areas buzz with life, especially in the Summer, when ladybirds, bees, honey bees and butterflies are all out collecting nectar and dragonflies and damselflies dart across the lake or bask in the afternoon sunshine. And once the walk is over, take time to relax, sit down on the Lakeside Decked area or lay out a picnic blanket under the trees or amongst the numerous pockets of wild orchids, of which we have 5 species around the site, and enjoy your picnic lunch.
Meet Bob in the Atrium of Building 1000 at 12.30 on Thursday 25 June.
A newsletter is produced each season and available to downloaded from the website or visit our YouTube Channel for all the latest wildlife caught on camera:
There are also three notice boards with some up to date information about the wildlife around the site.
