Join us and wildlife expert Alison Barker from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust on our next wellbeing and wildlife walk around the campus
Just a 45-minute walk in a green natural space has many health and wellbeing benefits including positive impacts on stress levels – walking in nature is a great way of reconnecting you with the natural world – seeing and learning about wildlife along the way is a bonus!
Spring on Campus is marked by bursts of colour and song as the new green leaves unfurl on the trees, spring flowers dot the meadows, and new arrivals from Africa join the chorus of birdsong.
Come along and find out which birds have flown all the way from West Africa to breed in our reed beds, see if we can find an Orange-tip Butterfly, be amazed by the variety of colours of spring leaves.
The Campus has lots of unexpected wildlife and spring is a great time to come and look for it and find out some of the facts and stories behind what you see and hear.
